FIRE SAFETY ADVISER SERVICES
In 2008 the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations came into effect, which included the requirement in certain situations, for buildings/business to appoint a Fire Safety Adviser either on staff or have an external Fire Safety Consultant representing them as their Fire Safety Adviser.
Buildings and Business that are prescribed as High Occupancy Buildings, require a Fire Safety Adviser being appointed. A High Occupancy building means:
- A class 2 or 3 building more than 25m high. (8 story or higher Residential)
- A class 2, 3, 5, 6, 7b, 8, 9a, or 9b building that is a workplace where 30 or more employees are normally employed.
- A class 6 or 9b building that the commissioner has decided is an at risk licensed building under section 104KD of the Fire Services Act.
THIS SERVICE INCLUDES:
- FSA Consultant Services advice for 12 months to ensure compliance's are met and maintained.
- EPC Meeting includes facilitating and completing the Minutes.
- Review and update Procedures Manual and Evacuation Diagrams as required.
- Compliance review including report at end of 12 month’s service.
NOTE: HIGH OCCUPANCY BUILDINGS
A ‘HIGH OCCUPANCY BUILDING’ is a workplace with over 30 employees, or a residential building over 25 metre’s in height
