FIRE SAFETY ADVISER SERVICES

In 2008 the Queensland Building Fire Safety Regulations came into effect, which included the requirement in certain situations, for buildings/business to appoint a Fire Safety Adviser either on staff or have an external Fire Safety Consultant representing them as their Fire Safety Adviser.
Buildings and Business that are prescribed as High Occupancy Buildings, require a Fire Safety Adviser being appointed. A High Occupancy building means:

NOTE: HIGH OCCUPANCY BUILDINGS

A ‘HIGH OCCUPANCY BUILDING’ is a workplace with over 30 employees, or a residential building over 25 metre’s in height (8 Levels)
FIRE SAFETY ADVISER
Is a requirement of Qld Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008 Section 34 ‘Appointment of Fire Safety Advisers for high occupancy buildings’
