This course meets the requirements of the Qld Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008.
This course provides your Wardens with the confidence to execute the safe evacuation of occupants in a building using a methodical approach. It also gives Wardens important instruction and understanding in the use of the emergency response equipment available to them.
WHO NEEDS TO ATTEND
All delegated Wardens in a workplace. (This is a requirement of Qld Building Fire Safety Regulations 2008)
DURATION
1 Hr dependent on size and complexity of site.
CERTIFICATION
As required by the Qld Building Fire Safety Regulations, an attendance register will be provided at the conclusion of the course.
This is not an accredited course. If requested, a Statement of Attendance can be issued at an additional cost.

Human behaviour
Pre-emergency
Emergency
Post Emergency
Reporting emergencies and initiating warning equipment
Occupants and visitors with disabilities (Personnel Emergency Evacuation Plan – ‘PEEPS’)
Use of installed emergency response equipment
The performance of the building and its installations during a fire or other emergency.
